I had a glorious day. I did not win myself but came second. My target was to climb up as high as possible to reach the Anastasi church on the top of the hill. These were 1000 steps to conquer in a hot sunny day. I had about 900 behind me when I lost
my way on the narrow streets. Wet and thursty, I decided to turn downwards. That was only a church to visit, and there were plenty of good substitudes where to go.
Soon I found a very beautiful one, St. Nikolaus church from year 1848. Actually I was looking for an icon made by world famous painter El Greco, The Greek. But that was somewhere else. I gave up, I needed a very nice cool beer.
By the way, everybody of course remembers El Greco's real name, he is so famous, but for those who just forgot it, I put it here. Domenikos Theotokopoulos naturally.

- I was born on Nov.24, 1940, just 9 months after Winter War against Russia was ended.My father died, when I was 3 years old. My mother remarried, when I was 8. He was a good man but I never got along him. After my military service in Finnish Navy I studied in University of Helsinki,but never did finish it partly because living in Germany and Spain for almost two years, partly because of my laziness and eager participation in student life. With 25 I was appointed as an assistant buyer to leading Finnish Mail-order and Department Store chain. I was promoted one and half years later as Buying Manager, but decided after 4 successful years start by my own. I found a financing and started an Import- wholesale company. After 16 years I owned it !00%. I worked there until 2006. After several shorter or longer relationships with several women I finally married with 40 years. We got two sons , and were married for 24 years. My sons lead today the company I started 45 years ago very fine with nice results internationally, too. And meanwhile they managed to have 4 grandchildren , 2 boys and 2 girls.
